Kala takes place in Dhërmi, a coastal village on the Albanian Riviera.

The nearest airports are Tirana in the north of Albania and Corfu in Greece.

Flight times are under 3h from most European cities.

Tirana’s airport has been recently expanded to accommodate the rapid increase of direct flights from several cities across EU and UK.

There are loads of cheap connections via Milan too.

We recommend allowing 1h30 to go through passport control, collect your luggage and grab some food at the airport before getting the transfer.

Fly to Tirana for the scenic bus ride•

Fly to Corfu for the scenic boat ride to Albania•

Corfu is a popular tourist hotspot where several low cost airlines fly to.

We organise boat transfers from the Corfu port to Kala.

This involves a short boat journey to cross to Albania, and a bus to then reach the festival site.

Total journey depends on the boat. There are several services available each day.

The boat journey is quite picturesque and quite often dolphins can be seen while cruising up the Riviera.

We recommend arriving at Corfu port at least 1h15 before the boat departure to clear passport control.

There are a few restaurants outside the port with terraces and local food.

Drymades

Perivolos

All hotels in Dhërmi are within walking distance to the stages.

Those staying in Perivolos and Drymades can use our shuttle service to get to and from the festival.

Shuttles loop continuously throughout the week. The journey time is around 10 minutes.

What’s Dhërmi like?

Dhërmi is a quaint little beach town flanked by the sprawling beaches of Dhërmi and Drymades.

The vast majority of the accommodation is located on either side. Both have a few supermarkets and a good range of beachside restaurants and bars.
